Trying to think up an illustration for this one.. illustrations seem to be de rigeur now..maybe I should look at some old Benjamin Britten album covers? Superannuated Mom's Guide to a Heartbreaking Yet Funny Chick Lit Novel?ms-Guide-to-a-Heartbreaking-Yet-Funny-Chick-Lit-Novel
My second posting ever on Scribd--note the small typeface! A recent review mentioned the music in "Seven Blackbrds" so I thought I'd pull this one up. Thanks for taking a peek!
Helen, the oldies, but goodies are still great. Thanks for sharing again.

Watched the video. Excellent. This is a subject still too much under wraps, and it's not only the woman who gets it. Hmm. Have to let a cat in.
What a great way of doing book publicity--and I love "I was standing in the narthex, eating my sandwich"
Great rhytmic images - I like your cello dream especially; I'm going to share it with an orchestra teacher/friend.
oh, the cello dream. Yes. Thanks!
According to the Internet Marketing for Dummies tutorial I get repeatedly from a long-suffering friend, I'm supposed to keep putting my OWN stuff up in the feed, so in delicate and tasteful manner, I will NOT put up the book ITSELF, but the "Superannuated Mother's Guide," which is in the way of a tunes track for the book. A horse of a different color, but there is some good R&B in the second half
Helen, Not only do you have a nice way to promoting, what you have to promote is really good. I hope everyone on Scribd takes advantage of the opportunity to sample your fine work.
I've now listened to you reading the first chapter and found it really emotional. Beautifully written. Terrifying. Not funny at all. You're some powerful talent. Krysh
I listened to the Youtube selection--well written and well read. Have you taken a look at Podiobooks.com? I'm thinking that when I have some time (some WHAT?) I might record a book to post there.
oh thank you Krysh. Krysia is talking about the youtube on my website, if I can manage it (I am Luddite Jr.) I'll attach it here. I did another one that was a lighter section, but I only posted it on my Scribd feed...have to find it and add it to the website. "Technology confuses me" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=essLG4...
