A total of 219 District 17 Democrats who are likely to vote in next years Democratic primary election were interviewed by telephone between October 10th and October 20th, 2013. Respondents were selected at random and interviews were balanced throughout the District to reflect voting patterns. The margin of error is plus or minus 6.6 percentage points. (Due to rounding, not all results equal 100 percent) Name ID An impressive 70% of District 17 Democratic primary voters have a favorable opinion of current Delegate Luiz Simmons, 4% have an unfavorable opinion of Simmons, 15% are neutral, and 11% dont recognize his name. Forty-five percent have a favorable opinion of former Delegate Cheryl Kagan, 13% have an unfavorable opinion of Kagan, 22% are neutral, and 20% dont recognize her name.
