Raja Singh Chhabeda Apr 21, 2009 9:47 AM (in response to Tarunkumar Bhavsar) Re: customer number range alphanumeric Hi, I guess in standard its not Possible, Actually the internal number are assigned through Number Range Objects defined through tcodes SNRO and SNUM. You have to change the number range assignments SNUM, but remember these number ranges defined are not transportable. They have to manually defined in each client/system. Check transaction VN01 Thanks, Raja

Mohan Phani Krishna Bobba Apr 21, 2009 11:03 AM (in response to Tarunkumar Bhavsar) Re: customer number range alphanumeric Hi, Actually we are defining the number ranges in "OVZC" T.Code. Here define your number like IN00001 to IN9999 like this. Here we are going to assign this number to that account group by using the path: SPRO>Logistics General>Business Partner>Customers>Control-->Define and assign customer number ranges. Assign Number Ranges to Account Groups. Define your account group such that the country name comes here. But it is a very difficult process. You can enter the numbers externally. It is suggestable. Regards, Krishna.

Alain BACCHI Apr 21, 2009 11:17 AM (in response to Tarunkumar Bhavsar) Re: customer number range alphanumeric Hi Tarunkumar, your request is a bit complicated. Even if I would not recommend that you implement such process, you can still have a look to BAdI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA. There is a method to implement your own numbering. As I don't have accces to a SAP system at the moment, I cannot be more precise. Sorry. Also from what I remember, for the account groups with internal number range, it could be that the number can be first generated then the BAdI is triggered. In other words, the internal number range you are using is always increasing even if you do not use it. Hope this helped BR Alain
