Step 1
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the onescrew that attaches the blue handle to thecartridge
(see photo 1).

Holding the drum shutter open, use a springhook to remove the cartridge tension springlocated on the contact side of the drum
(see photo 2).

Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the twoscrews holding the drum end cap to the car-tridge (see photo 3). Remove the drum endcap.

Step 5
Use a spring hook to reach into the newholes and gently push the exposed ends ofthe cartridge pins outward
(see photo 7).
When the cartridge pins slide into sight onthe outside of the cartridge, use needle nosepliers to remove them.

Separate the waste hopper from the tonerhopper and place the toner hopper aside.

Using a 3/32 drill bit, drill a hole inthe areas indicated by white dots
(see photo 4 & 5).
The holes should be drilled about3/16th inch in depth. Cartridge pinswill be revealed through the drilledholes
(see photo 6).

WASTE HOPPER SECTION
Step 7
To remove the drum; lift the drive gear end ofthe drum away from the cartridge
(see photo8).
Rotate the drum counter-clockwise whilepulling the drum off the drum axle on theopposite side of the cartridge.
Step 8
Use needle nose pliers to remove the PCRfrom the cartridge
(see photo 9).
Step 9
Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the twoscrews holding the wiper blade in place
(see photo 10).
Remove the wiper blade.
Step 10
Clean the waste hopper using deionized airor a vacuum. Clean the PCR saddle contactwith distilled water and a cotton swab
(see photo 11).

 Visually inspect the recovery blade for dam-age.

Take a new wiper blade and apply drumpadding powder
(see photo 12).

Place the wiper blade onto the waste hop-per. Install the two screws that hold thewiper blade in place
(see photo 13).

 Apply fresh conductive grease to the blackPCR saddle
(see photo 14).
Install the newPCR into the PCR saddles.

 Apply high temperature grease on the drumend cap
(see photo 15).

Clean the drum axle. Apply fresh conductivegrease using a cotton swab
(see photo 16).

 Apply padding powder to the drum(see photo 17). While rotating thedrum counter-clockwise, slide thedrum onto the drum axle.
Step 18
Install the drum end cap onto theside of the cartridge. Install the twoscrews that hold the drum end cap inplace
(see photo 18).
Carefully rotatethe drum clockwise to remove thepadding powder from the drum sur-face.
