OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The objectives of the study are:
To familiarize with business organization.
Getting practical experience regarding the organizational function.
To learn about the policies and functions of the organization.
To understand the culture in the organization and its effect on employees.
To get industrial exposure and experience.
To understand the production and marketing methods.
This study was undertaken by undergoing a training program at Ashok Leylandfor about a fortnight. The information was collected by interacting andinterviewing with the concerned personnel of various functional departments.The methodology used for the study is through the collection of primary andsecondary data. Primary data is collected through direct observation and livediscussion with the managers and the staff members. Secondary data iscollected through Annual Reports, Business Journals, Existing Records andalso from the website of the company.
