Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle were the greattrio of philosophers of ancient Greece. Platoused his teaching Academy to spread his ideason moral philosophy, epistemology, andpolitical theory which came to exert aprofound influence on western philosophy forcenturies afterwards. Plato’s ideal governmentwas a philosopher-monarch who would use hiswisdom for the common good.
