I love the holidays.From Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day, Iam one happy dad. Family, friends, foodand fun can be found inmy home and through-out the region. In Folsom, the traditionis to light the tree in thehistoric district, drawing hundreds of families.I attend most years andit’s always a great time. This year, the tree light-ing takes place 6-9 p.m.,Friday, Dec. 6, on SutterStreet. Organizers areasking the public to park in the big brick parking garage at 905 Leidesdorff St. at the corner of Read-ing Street and Leidesdorff Street.My son Liam has beengoing since he was only afew months old, shortly after I took over the edi-tor post in 2008. Now he’s5.
