This will confirm our telephone conversation ofNovember 7, 2013, regazding a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (5 ILCS 140/ 1 et seq. ( West 2012)) request that you submitted to the Office of the Illinois Attomey General. Specifically, your request dated and received by this office on November 7, 2013, seeks " copies of any and all records [ regazding Save- A-Life Foundation] maintained by the Attorney General' s office, including the Charitable Trust Bureau, dating from July 9, 2010 to the present. This request includes, but is not limited
to, reports and correspondence."
Per our conversation, you have clazified that your request seeks to confirm
whether this office's investigation of Save- A-Life Foundation is open. If the investigation is open, you indicated that you would like to receive a letter from this office to that effect If the investigation is closed, you would like to receive copies of the requested records. Your request is denied pursuant to sections 7( 1)( d)( i) and 7( 1)( d)( ii) of FOIA (5
ILCS 140/ 7( 1)( d)( i), ( ii) (West 2012)). Section 7( 1)( d)( i) prohibits the discloswe of "[ r] ecords
