Necmiye Oztekin Magazine Pre-production: Planning Treatment The potential music magazine, that I will be creating, the layout

will be simple and direct with the use of various dark colours such as black, red and grey, to have an implication that it is a rock magazine; similarly to the other magazines in the market. These colours are bold and would immediately catch the eye of the reader; even though these colours may be considered quite masculine, they do however show the genre of the music, rock, which would be a useful indication to the reader of what, will be in the magazine. The magazine will also include a large masthead with the magazines name on the top of the page. This will be bold and a clear identification that this is a rock magazine. This may be either red or black dependent on the colour scheme. The optional names of the magazine are as followed: Louder, Scream, Steelhead, Rubble and R&R. These names are a clear identification to the reader of what is to be expected in the magazine, as they are all rock related. The cover story would be either focused on an undiscovered band/ artist or a well-known artist in the rock industry. This could include their rise to fame, their upcoming music concerts and albums or it could also include new releases of songs and the background information and meaning of them. The magazine may also include an interview with the artist or band to entice readers to purchase the magazine and discover more facts about their favourite artist or somewhat. This would then affect the images on the front cover and have a relation to the story beside it. The images below are some ideas of what I hope to include in the potential magazine:
