in 1991.
Liberalization was to free large
private corporate sector from
bureaucratic controls.

unethical, illegal operations.
To promote the investment of
foreign companies in the area
of business and technology to
the country.

industry from excessive
regulatory pressure.
Need of Liberalization
The big business houses were
unable to start new enterprises due
to the limit imposed by MRTP act.
To give freedom to large private
corporate sector from bureaucratic
controls
Aims of liberalization
To achieve full employment.
To achieve self reliance.
To reduce in equality of income
and wealth.
To reduce the no. of people
living below the poverty time.
