Adapted from Jiang Rongs best-seller in Chinna, the shooting of Wolf Totem (3D) is now over. Cinematographer Jean-Marie Dreujou AFC talks about his experience with Angnieux lenses on the movie :
Wolf Totem is my second lm in China : I shot in 2001
Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress by Dai Sijie. For this movie I had used an Angnieux 25-250 HR with a Zeiss Distagon series. We were at that time four French people to make this movie, entirely in chinese(...)

ROHAN BY ASH BHALLA PRODUCTION : MICHAEL BEDDOES
Shot with Optimo DP 16-42 and 30-80 on a Red Epic monochrome, ROHAN is a narrative short lm currently in post-production. It tells the story of a South London haulage porter struggling to confront his mothers impending death risking the nal precious moments he has left with her. The intention on the movie of both director Ash Bhalla and cinematographer William Wohleb was to mix a minimalist photographic approach with the contemporary style of movement : The Optimo DP line of lenses enabled me to have the focal range I needed in an amazingly compact package.
