We Need Help Making Sure Union Retirees Are Secure atTheir Annual Event and Their Voices are Heard atCongressional Town Hall Meeting

, The Florida Alliance for Retired Americans(FLARA) will be holding their 5
th
Annual Town Hall Meeting on HealthCare Reform with members of t he South Florida CongressionalDelegation. FLARA is retiree the affiliate of the National AFL-CIO andmost local unions across the State of Florida are affiliated with FLARA.As you know, across the country town hall meetings on health care reformhave been disrupted, dismantled and have turned into fiascos as a result of the right-wing tea party goers. The FLARA town hall meeting holds thisannual meeting for 
THEIR OWN MEMBERS–OUR LOCAL UNIONRETIREES, and this year will be no different! THIS IS NOT APUBLIC MEETING and TICKETS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND
.500 Tickets (room capacity) have already been distributed by FLARA totheir members. However, news reports have indicated that this forum isopen to the public, therefore, we need to ensure that FLARA members, our retirees, are SAFE, SECURE and are able to attend this event, just like theyhave in the past without FEAR, INTIMIDATION and not SUBJECTED TOUNRULY Behavior.
