New Listing Email Features
You may have noticed some new features in the listing emails you are receiving form your real estateagent. This guide will give you a brief overview of how those new features can help you to categorizelistings.Your agent can email listing information to you in two ways: manually, or by setting up automatic emails.Both types of emails contain a hyperlink that you can click on to view listings. When you click on the linkin an email, the page will open to display the listings in that email. See the example below.
Display Options
The listings will be displayed in the System Summary – Customer display. The screen display and thenumber of listings per page can be changed by changing the options for the Display and number oflistings per page toward the bottom of the screen (see above).This new email will remember the display you use most often and will default to it whenever you openemails from Matrix.
Tabs
When you click on the link to view listings emailed by your agent, five tabs are displayed:
Start
,
Email
,
Favorites
,
Possibilities,
and
Discarded
.The
Start
tab – under Auto Emails, you will see links to all Automatic searches that your agent has set upfor you. Under Manual E-mails, you’ll see all the emails for all of the listings that your agent has manuallysent to you in the past 90 days.You can change thedisplay and # of listingsper page.Click on the
Favorites
tab toview all listings you marked asFavorites in one place. Samefor
Possibilities
and
Discarded
. Your agent canview these tabs to see whichlistings you like and don’t like.
 
 
The links for Manual emails and auto emails work slightly differently. Clicking on the link for an auto emailwill bring up the listings that currently match that saved search. Clicking on the link for a manual email willbring up the listings that were sent in that email.The
Email
tab is the default view that opens when you click on the link to view listings. For listings thatyou haven’t viewed in the Full - Customer, Short - Customer and Synopsis – Customer displays, the MLSnumber will display in bold text.You can click on the
Favorites
,
Possibilities
and
Discarded
tabs to quickly and easily view all of thelistings that you have marked as Favorites, Possibilities or Discarded in one place.
Note:
the total number of listings marked as Favorites is shown in parenthesis on the Favorites tab. Thisnumber is per property type. This means that if you are looking at residential listings, you will see the totalnumber of residential listings marked as Favorites in parenthesis on the Favorites tab. The same goes forthe Possibilities and Discarded tabs.
Click on an
MLS number
to view that listing in the Full – Customer display. The subject of theauto email the listing was sent in will display as the tab name.
Click on the
photo icon
for a popup containing all the photographs for that listing
Click the
globe icon
to view this listing's location on the
map.
 
 
Sort listings
by clicking one of the column headingsThere are also some icons at the bottom of the screen:
Click the
Print
icon to print all listings currently displayed, or select the listings you want to print.The listings will print in the display you are viewing them in on Email+.
Click the
Map
icon to plot all listings currently displayed on a map, or select listings of interest toplot them on a map
 
Mark as Read
: when you mark listings as read, the MLS # will no longer appear in bold text.
Check one or more listings and click the
Add to Favorites
,
Add to
 
Possibilities
or
Discard
 icons to classify them as such and save on the tabs of corresponding names, which you can seenear the top of the screen. This will help organize listings into those of interest, those that mightbe of interest, and those of no interest.
Automatic Email Features
These features are only present when viewing listings sent through automatic emails that your agent hasset up for you.
Order of Listings
For auto emails, the most recent listings will be at the top, and the least recent emails will be at thebottom. You can sort the listings by clicking on the column headers on any of the one-line displays.
Listings Highlighted in Yellow
Listings that were listed or updated within the past 24 hours will be highlighted in yellow. The yellowhighlight will disappear after you have viewed the listing in the Customer – Full or Customer – Shortdisplay, or if you use the “Mark as Read” icon.
Email Tab
When you are viewing listings sent through an auto email, the auto email search name will display as theemail tab name.
