off the registrationfee by signing up by August 1, 2009. Pioneer registration is going on now for theApostles Pioneer 2009/2010 program. Boys and girls in grades 1-8 may sign up for Pioneers. You don’t need to attend Apostles Lutheran School to join the Pioneers. Also, if your child has a friend that attends another school and would be interested, please feelfree to invite them to join. The Pioneer program is a supervised and constructiverecreation preparing boy and girls in the way of good citizenship with their motto “Loyalto Christ”, ever before them. Pioneers will meet every 2nd and 4th Monday (September 2009 - April 2010), 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM starting with our first meeting an “Ice CreamSocial” on September 14, 2009. The Pioneer overnight camp out at Ed Levin Park will beon Friday Sept 26.The Boy & Girl Pioneers, pending their age group will be learning how they can praiseour Lord through good citizenship, stewardship & knowledge of God's wonderfulcreation. Each Pioneer will receive a uniform T-Shirt and will earn patches as theyprogress through the program. Something new this year due to the great expense andsmall selection of charms the girl Pioneers will now be earning patches instead of charms. Patches can be earned by both boy & girl Pioneers by participating in variousactivities.Pioneer registration forms were distributed to each Apostles student last May. ExtraPioneer registration forms are located in the church entryway. Please enclose in anenvelope your child’s registration form and applicable fees and drop it off in the Pioneer Registration folder located in the Apostles school office.
