Start utility LMTOOLS.exe from: C:\SIMULIA\License (Run as admin) create Abaqus in Config Services point the way for a file lmgrd.exe in folder 'SIMULIA/license', point the way for the file changed by you of the license, point to debug file (imp, do this!) add ticks in fields 'Use Services' and 'Start server at power up ' Save server ' Save Service ', carry out Start/Stop/Reread tab start the server. click on reread lic file check on server status, it should show available licences. This is imp s tep. otherwise, no use of installing abaqus 5. Install abaqus: <drive>:\win86_64\product\Windows\Disk1\InstData\VM Click on install abaqus product
