The “Introduction to the Book of Zohar” is the companion book to “The Science of Kabbalah”, which should be read first. Both books are required reading/study for beginning Kabbalah students prior the study of “The Book of Zohar” (The Book of Radiance). It is written “the depth of wisdom and learning contained in the Holy Book of Zohar is concealed behind a thousand locked gates. What can be done to unlock these gates? Both of these books are preparatory books that teach us how to read the Zohar and thus learn how to unlock the gates. The Zohar requires the study of how to read it before one takes on the actual task of the study. These are not easy books and meant for the serious Kabbalah student, who understand that even if they do not always understand what they are reading, their desire to understand is drawing the Light that will correct.
