Description

This is the author's second poetry manuscript, with influences by T.S. Eliot, Sylvia Plath, and Pablo Neruda. Some of the selections are experimental in the tradition of H.D. and other imagists.

These poems express the personal desolation of being estranged from her family, involved in an abusive relationship and seeking an outlet for her stifled creativity. These poems are intensely personal and filled with vivid images of despair, with a distant glow of hopeful optimism.
