The club shall be called(the “Club”)
2Objects
The objects of the Club shall be toprovide facilities, promote the gameof Association Football, to arrangematches and social activities for itsmembers and communityparticipation in the same.
3Status of Rules
These rules (the “Club Rules”) forma binding agreement between eachmember of the Club.
4Rules and Regulations
(a)The members of the Club shall soexercise their rights, powers andduties and shall, where appropriate,use their best endeavours to ensurethat others conduct themselves sothat the business and affairs of theClub are carried out in accordancewith the Rules and Regulations ofThe Football Association Limited(“The FA”), County FootballAssociation to which the Club isaffiliated (“Parent CountyAssociation”) and Competitions inwhich the Club participates, for thetime being in force.(b)No alteration to the Club Rules shallbe effective without prior writtenapproval by the Parent CountyAssociation. The FA and the ParentCounty Association reserve the rightto approve any proposed changesto the Club Rules.(c)The Club will also abide by The FA’sChild Protection Policies andProcedures, Codes of Conduct andthe Equality Policy as shall be inplace from time to time.
5Club Membership
(a)The members of the Club from timeto time shall be those persons listedin the register of members (the“Membership Register”) which shallbe maintained by the ClubSecretary.(b)Any person who wishes to be amember must apply on theMembership Application Form anddeliver it to the Club. Election tomembership shall be at thediscretion of the Club Committeeand granted in accordance with theanti-discrimination and equalitypolicies which are in place from timeto time. An appeal against refusalmay be made to the ClubCommittee in accordance with theComplaints Procedure in force fromtime to time. Membership shallbecome effective upon anapplicant’s name being entered inthe Membership Register.

(c)In the event of a member’sresignation or expulsion, his or hername shall be removed from theMembership Register.(d)The FA and Parent CountyAssociation shall be given access tothe Membership Register ondemand.
6Annual Membership Fee
(a)An annual fee payable by eachmember shall be determined fromtime to time by the Club Committeeand set at a level that will not pose asignificant obstacle to communityparticipation. Any fee shall bepayable on a successful applicationfor membership and annually byeach member. Fees shall not berepayable.(b)The Club Committee shall have theauthority to levy furthersubscriptions from the members asare reasonably necessary to fulfil theobjects of the Club.
7Resignation and Expulsion
(a)A member shall cease to be amember of the Club if, and from thedate on which, he/she gives noticeto the Club Committee of his/herresignation. A member whoseannual membership fee or furthersubscription is more than two (2)months in arrears shall be deemedto have resigned.(b)The Club Committee shall have thepower to expel a member when, inits opinion, it would not be in theinterests of the Club for them toremain a member. An appealagainst such a decision may bemade to the Club Committee inaccordance with the ComplaintsProcedure in force from timeto time.(c)A member who resigns or isexpelled shall not be entitled toclaim any, or a share of any, of theincome and assets of the Club (the“Club Property).
8Club Committee
(a)The Club Committee shall consist ofthe following Club Officers:Chairperson, Vice Chairperson,Treasurer, Secretary and MinutesSecretary and up to five othermembers, elected at an AnnualGeneral Meeting.(b)Each Club Officer and ClubCommittee Member shall hold officefrom the date of appointment untilthe next Annual General Meeting(“AGM”) unless otherwise resolvedat an Extraordinary General Meeting(“EGM”). One person may hold nomore than two positions of ClubOfficer at any time. The ClubCommittee shall be responsible forthe management of all the affairs ofthe Club. Decisions of the Club

Committee shall be made by asimple majority of those attendingthe Club Committee meeting. TheChairperson of the Club Committeemeeting shall have a casting vote inthe event of a tie. Meetings of theClub Committee shall be chaired bythe or in their absencethe . The quorum for thetransaction of business of the ClubCommittee shall be three.(c)Decisions of the Club Committee ofmeetings shall be entered into theMinute Book of the Club to bemaintained by the Club Secretary.(d)Any member of the Club Committeemay call a meeting of the ClubCommittee by giving not less thanseven days’ notice to all members ofthe Club Committee. The ClubCommittee shall hold not less thanfour meetings a year.(e)An outgoing member of the ClubCommittee may be re-elected. Anyvacancy on the Club Committeewhich arises between AnnualGeneral Meetings shall be filled by amember proposed by one andseconded by another of theremaining Club Committee membersand approved by a simple majorityof the remaining Club Committeemembers.(f)Save as provided for in the Rulesand Regulations of The FA, theParent County Association and anyapplicable Competition, the ClubCommittee shall have the power todecide all questions and disputesarising in respect of any issueconcerning the Club Rules.(g)The position of a Club Officer shallbe vacated if such person is subjectto a decision of The FA that suchperson be suspended from holdingoffice or from taking part in anyfootball activity relating to theadministration or management of afootball club.
9Annual and Extraordinary GeneralMeetings
(a)An AGM shall be held in each yearto:(i)receive a report of theactivities of the Club overthe previous year(ii)receive a report of theClub’s finances over theprevious year(iii)elect the members of theClub Committee(iv)consider any other business.(b)Nominations for election ofmembers as Club Officers or asmembers of the Club Committeeshall be made in writing by theproposer and seconder, both ofwhom must be existing members ofthe Club, to the Club Secretary notless than 21 days before the AGM.
