Didache or pseudo teachings of the Apostles (The word records them doing all things in the Lord Jesus Christ or some version of it. Neither trinity was used in their Godhead nor baptismal formula!) are used by pre-Nicene Catholics in an attempt to put tradition above the word of God. All the evidence here (About the Didache's formula.) is written by their hand. They readily admit it is a fraud. So are you going base your trust, salvation, and life on that? I should hope not!

The Didache, or The Teachings of the Twelve Apostles, is a second centurydocument, dated around 120. It is generally considered a "pious fraud," meaningthat it was fictitiously written in the name of the apostles for a pious reason. It has little value historically. Its section related to baptism is quite short:1. And concerning baptism, thus baptize ye: Having first said all these things, baptize into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, inliving water. 2. But if thou have not living water, baptize into other water; andif thou canst not in cold, in warm. 3. But if thou have not either, pour out waterthrice upon the head into the name of Father and Son and Holy Spirit. 4. Butbefore the baptism let the baptizer fast, and the baptized, and whatever otherscan; but thou shalt order the baptized to fast one or two days before (CCELTeachings of the Twelve Apostles:VII). It was made by Catholics in an attempt toprove the trinity title baptism as valid. Within the scriptures from Acts 2:38until 22:16; nobody whether Peter, Paul, or Philip ever mentions or does anybaptism except in Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus Christ, or simply Jesus in baptism. In fact Paul later writes explaining to new converts by his letters, theimportance of using the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Read Galatians 3:27,Colossians 3:17 and Romans 6:1-6. Titius 3:5, 1 Peter 3:21, and 2 Timothy 3:5; allpoint to baptism by faith (Mark 16:16, Luke 24:47, and Acts 2:38) in the powerfuland regenerative name of Jesus. No where was anybody baptized three times by asprinkling method! The Greek word "Baptizo' means to dip, immerse, or overwhelm ina liquid, specifically water here. And "Rantizo" or to sprinkle, is never use intranslation as they are two very different words. Philip baptized the Eunuch inJesus name by immersion in Acts 8:26-40. Jesus, our great High Priest who did allthings that we would have to do, (Hebrews 4:15) was immersed by John in the Jordanand the Holy spirit in dove form lit upon him. Just as Romans 6:4 and Colossians2;12 shows that we must be baptized by faith in the likeness of his death, burial, and rise in newness of life; having the Holy Spirit in us. Nobody ever gets buriedat funerals by a sprinkle of dirt. Rather they are covered by it. And to baptizein titles (Jesus is the family name in Ephesians 3:15. Jesus is the name of thefather, (John 5:43) son, (Matthew 1:21) and the Holy Spirit. (John 14:26) Jesushas all power and authority in Matthew 28:18. His name alone can save in Acts4:12. It is commanded for all things, both in every word and deed, in Colossians3:17. So, we can believe either the Holy scriptures (The witness of God) or theDidache, (The witness of man) by the name called in our baptism. 1 John 5:8-10And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and theblood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witnessof God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of hisSon. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he thatbelieveth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record thatGod gave of his Son. When one is baptized in water, the blood of Christ now covershim, and the spirit enters in. Clearly here it states the word is more important. Also, if we do not believe and obey it we have called God a liar! Matthew 7:21-23Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, (Jesus is Lord of all in Acts10:36!) shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of myFather which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have wenot prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy namedone many wonderful works? (All except batism in Jesus name!) And then will Iprofess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Unlessyour sins have been forgiven by God's method, your lost! Acts 2:37-38,41 Now whenthey heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to therest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Here are Jews from everynation hearing God's knock on their heart's door. As Luke 24 stated that theApostles would preach remission and repentance to all nations, to begin atJerusalem. Let's see what they told these guys to do to be saved. Then Peter saidunto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christfor the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.Remission means or is equal to forgiveness. So to be forgiven, all need repentance
