This directory of services has been compiled by the Morris County Division on Aging, Disabilities andVeterans. If you are over the age of 60, disabled or a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, youmay be eligible for a variety of services listed within this directory.Many of the programs listed are provided by the Morris County Division on Aging, Disabilities andVeterans, State and County Agencies, and through private Foundations and Charities. The MorrisCounty Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Older Americans Act and the State of New Jersey areresponsible for much of the funding for these programs.The New Jersey Department of Human Services have established a "one-door" access to services thatwill help people age in place.In New Jersey, this is called the Aging and Disability ResourceConnection (ADRC) and/or Area Agency on Aging (AAA). Individuals and caregivers can receiveinformation on a variety of services designed to foster the independence and dignity of Morris Countycitizens in need of assistance.The Morris County Aging & Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) can be reached by calling(800) 564-4656 or (877) 222-3737.Our hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. In addition to the programsand services described in this brochure, the Morris County Division on Aging, Disabilities and Veteransprovides lectures, trainings and special events.This directory provides general information on Morris Count non-profit organizations.
