Fallen Dwarves Dwarves are difficult to corrupt.

There are many selfish, greed, and even downright murderous dwarves but few deal with anything darker than gold. So when a dwarf is corrupted it can be very dangerous. The first corrupted dwarf was Bolger; a strong miner and noble soul he was so prosperous it was said he was one with the mountain itself. In truth Bolger was weak and craved the riches and glory so he made a deal with a devil for his soul for a strong oboalite seam. And for some time he had just that until one day the devil he dealt with came to collect on their agreement. But Bolger was ready and with a cadre of clerics they managed to bind the demon into a artifact. Unfortunately for Bolger this was not perfect and the taint of the demon spread. As the miners dug into the mine so too did the devil dig into them, for those who partook of the devil's bounty they would be subject to his price. Soon the miners found parts of their bodies replaced with the same rock they drew.
