Debt and Taxes
Working Americans like lower taxes. So do I. Lower taxes benet all o us, cre-ating jobs and allowing us to make moredecisions or ourselves about our lives.Whether a tax cut reduces a single
mother’s payroll taxes by $40 amonth or allows a business owner tosave thousands in capital gains taxesand hire more employees, that taxcut is a good thing. Lower taxes allowmore spending, saving, and invest-ing which helps the economy — thatmeans all o us.
Real conservatives have always sup-ported low taxes and low spending. But today, too many politicians andlobbyists are spending America intoruin. We are nine trillion dollars in debtas a nation. Our mounting governmentdebt endangers the nancial uture o our children and grandchildren. I wedon’t cut spending now, higher taxesand economic disaster will be in their u-ture — and yours.
In addition, the Federal Reserve, our central bank, osters runawaydebt by increasing the money supply
—
making each dollar in your pocketworth less. Te Fed is a private bankrun by unelected ocials who are notrequired to be open or accountable to“we the people.”Worse, our economy and our very in-dependence as a nation is increasinglyin the hands o oreign governmentssuch as China and Saudi Arabia, be-cause their central banks also nanceour runaway spending. We cannot continue to allow privatebanks, wasteul agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welare, and govern-ments collecting oreign aid to dictatethe size o our ballooning budget. Weneed a new method to prioritize ourspending. It’s called the Constitutiono the United States.
American Independence and Sovereignty
So called ree trade deals and worldgovernmental organizations like theInternational Criminal Court (ICC),NAFA, GA, WO, and CAFA are athreat to our independence as a nation.Tey transer power rom our govern-ment to unelected oreign elites.Te ICC wants to try our soldiersas war criminals. Both the WO andCAFA could orce Americans to geta doctor’s prescription to take herbsand vitamins. Alternative treatmentscould be banned. Te WO has orcedCongress to change our laws, yet westill ace trade wars. oday, France isthreatening to have U.S. goods taxedthroughout Europe. I anything, theWO makes trade relations worse bygiving oreign competitors a new wayto attack U.S. jobs. NAFA’s superhigh-way is just one part o a plan to erasethe borders between the U.S. and Mex-ico, called the North American Union.Tis spawn o powerul special inter-ests, would create a single nation outo Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, with anew unelected bureaucracy and moneysystem. Forget about controlling immi-gration under this scheme.
And a ree America, with limited, con-stitutional government, would be goneorever.Let’s not orget th
e UN. It wants toimpose a direct tax on us. I successullyought this move in Congress last year, but i we are going to stop ongoing at-tempts o this world government bodyto tax us, we will need leadership romthe White House. We must withdraw rom any organi-zations and trade deals that inringeupon the reedom and independence o the United States o America.
War and Foreign Policy
Te war in Iraq was sold to uswith false information. Te area ismore dangerous now than when weentered it. We destroyed a regimehated by our direct enemies, the ji-hadists, and created thousands of new recruits for them. Tis war hascost more than 3,000 American lives, thousands of seriously wounded, and hundreds of billions of dollars. We must have new leadership in theWhite House to ensure this neverhappens again.
Both Jeferson and Washingtonwarned us about entangling ourselvesin the afairs o other nations. oday,we have troops in 130 countries. Weare spread so thin that we have too ewtroops deending America. And now, there are new calls or a drat o ouryoung men and women.
We can continue to und and ght no-win police actions around the globe, orwe can reocus on securing America andbring the troops home. No war shouldever be ought without a declaration o war voted upon by the Congress, as re-quired by the Constitution. Under no
