PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION
THIS MATTER is before this Court on the Plaintiff's Motion for TemporaryRestraining Order and Preliminary Injunctive Relief
. The Parties have informed
the Court that they have consented, stipulated, and agreed to the entry of this Order
Granting Preliminary Injunction ("Order") in order to protect the rights and
interests of the Parties during the pendency of these proceedings
.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED as follows
:
(1) Paul Quinn College located in Dallas, Texas, is hereby reinstated to
membership in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on
Colleges, Inc
., (SACS-COC), in the same status it was in immediately before the
action to remove it; that is, as a member on Probation
;

(2) Copies of this Order shall be sent by the Parties, or either of them, in
writing, by e-mail, facsimile or other means of electronic transmission, to theUnited States Department of Education and to the Texas Department of Education
.
Receipt of a copy of this Order shall serve as notice that Paul Quinn College has
been reinstated to membership in SACS-COC, and that Paul Quinn College is and
remains eligible to participate in all Title IV Federal Student Assistance Programs
and all Texas Financial Aid programs
. The Parties to this action shall cooperate
with one another in providing notice and copies of this Order to all parties who
have received notice of the action by SACS-COC removing Paul Quinn Collegefrom membership
.
(3) SACS-COC shall, as soon as practicable, but no later than 5
:00 p
.m
.
on Friday, August 28, 2009, post notification on its website of the entry of this
Order and that Plaintiff Paul Quinn College has been and is restored tomembership in SACS as a member on Probation, pending further Order of thisCourt
; and
(4) This Order shall remain in full force and effect and binding upon the
Parties, pending further order of this Court
.
