This section will give you basic information you’llneed to begin enjoying lucidity in your dreams. Record yourobservations in the column provided on the right hand side of each page. That will help you to understand yourexperiences and allow you to identify what works best. Theinformation derived from your note taking efforts will helpyou make progress. You can also jot down terms to research.You can be confident that you will achieve results.After all, we are equipped to contemplate and use these skills,and to fine-tune them over time. Once you begin the processof adhering to a set schedule and committing yourexperiences to your workbook, it gradually becomes easier.The benefits of this consistent effort will begin to multiply.You are simply recording impressions of a newly exploredchannel of thought.This workbook will include examples that helpillustrate how different approaches to your effort can yieldsatisfying results. Once you have achieved lucidity and, asyour control and frequency increase, you’ll find your diligentefforts not to be a chore at all! In fact, you’ll likely look forward to endless exploration of lucidity for variouspurposes such as enlightenment, problem solving andentertainment. You may also find that dreaming lucidlygives you a more balanced perspective of the physical world.It seems that the land of dreamscapes coexists peacefullywith our physical ‘reality’. Contemplating both universescan add meaningful insight into everyday life, and inparticular can enhance your waking life. You may come tobelieve that what is found within you is as valuable, at timesmore so, than material pursuits. This is not to say that youshouldn’t earn as rich a living as you possibly can.
