CRAWFORDSVILLE BASKETBALLREUNION WEEKEND
Dear Athenian,You and your family are invited to attend the first annual Crawfordsville Basketball Alumni Reunion Weekendon Friday, September 18. We have done our best to invite all former basketball Athenians back to CHS on thisday for a reunion before and after the home football game with Beech Grove on this day. This game ishomecoming, so we hope it was in your plans anyway!The cost of the reunion is $25 per former player. There will be an additional $10 charge for one guest, and a $5charge for any additional guests. We have reserved the swimming parking lot (just south of the aquatics center) beginning at 4:30 pm. Food will be catered before the game by Joey’s Main Street Cafe and will consist of sandwiches and/or wraps, chips, side dishes, cookies, soft drinks, and water. All proceeds go to theCrawfordsville Boy’s Basketball program. The cost also includes a ticket to the football game for each personon the registration, which begins at 7:00 pm. Please register in the parking lot upon arrival. You will receiveyour ticket(s) to the game at this point. After the game, the back room of the Crawfordsville Pizza Hut isreserved for the Crawfordsville Basketball Alumni Reunion if you wish to continue the fun.If you are interested in attending, or if you cannot attend and are interested in donating to the program, pleasefill out the attached sheet and return to Coach Blackwell at Crawfordsville High School.We hope to see as many former Athenians as possible at the reunion on September 18, and cheering on theAthenians against Beech Grove. If you think football season is an awkward time for a basketball reunion, wefeel that there is no such thing as a bad time to celebrate Crawfordsville Basketball, and doing so while cheeringon Crawfordsville Football is even better. As a basketball staff, we are excited to be involved in an event of thisnature and don’t feel we could do it the way we wanted during our own season.As you can imagine, trying to get an address for everyone was a very difficult task. We were able to get lots of addresses but there are some we were unable to get. Please help us by spreading the word of this reunion to anyCrawfordsville Basketball Alumni that you are in touch with or can be in touch with. If they did not receive thisletter and registration, they can contact me at 765-362-2340 or at jblackwell@cville.k12.in.us and I will get
them a copy immediately.
