Step 1:
Cut a piece of cardstock 5 ½ by 12 inches. This will be the base
of the card.
Step 2:
Score the cardstock at 2inches, 4 inches, 8 inches, and 10 inches

Step 3:
Using your paper trimmer, line the cardstock vertically at the 1 ½
inch mark and cut from the 10 in mark to the 2 in mark. Then
move the paper over to the 4 inch mark and cut from the 2 in
mark to the 10 in mark.
Step 4:
Lay the cardstock horizontally and fold the 1st full score line up,
the 2nd score line down, move pass the cut panel and fold the 3rd
full score line up and the 4th score line down. Then on the inside
panel (the one that you cut) fold the center fold 1st one down and
2nd score line up.
Your card should resemble the image below.
Step 5:
Using your selected die cut, cut out two mats for your sentiments
or stamped images that will be placed on the front of the card and
in the center of the card.

Step 6:
Decorate your card each section at a time. In my card I used
several cardstock mats, designer paper, some paper piercing and
flowers for my embellishments. Do not adhere the front image
until all the sections of the card are done.
Step 7:
Adhere the front sentiment to the front of the card. When using
adhesive, remember to adhere the right side of the sentiment to
the center panel only, otherwise the card will not open.
