We are living in an era of an ever evolving Global order that constantly integrates and disintegrates based on the actions of behind the scene actors, wars, strife, migration, and economic meltdown. The global change is also characterized by the transition of power. No longer can the United States takes for granted it leadership in the areas of technology, military supremacy, and economic domination. The U.S. is being pressed from every side by the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) cooperative. They have started to flex their muscles by making inroads into areas such as Africa or the Middle East in pursuit of trade agreements steeped in raw material concessions. The purpose of this paper is to describe briefly how countries are adjusting to the Global shift.
