Seransil News!!

2013 has been a good year for Seransil Poodles." Royal (Am/Can GCh Seransil Skyewell RocOn Royal) nishes the year completing his GrandChampionship and being #5 Standard Poodle in Canada." Royal is co-owned with Robyn DeJager. Ashton nished#3 all breed, #1 in Alberta. #1 Standard Poodle, ,& #1 Non sporting in Rally Obedience this year!!! And Three Seransil Baby puppies made their debut in the ring at the Lethbridge show." They showed great for 4 month old puppies!

Sandi! Etain & I have a successful week-end at the Lethbridge & District Kennel Club show." On Friday she was awarded a Group 3 placement under Judge Melvin Beech, it was our very rst owner-handled placement & hopefully not our last.! Saturday & Sunday Etain showed very well, it was really nice to hear fellow exhibitors say that each day we showed better than the last." Hoping this bodes well for us when we make our US debut in Jan 2014.! "!

Judy Hunt!
In early November Mazie nished her Ch in Red Deer with a Best of Winners. Thanks to Julia and Pat for taking her and making sure she was in top notch showing condtion!!

At our LDKC show Kona nished her CD and also won the Kinko Hironaka trophy for high aggregate in Novice...it was very exciting!!! and we are honored to keep that trophy for a year

Shauna!
In their debut to the rally ring- Catch came home with THREE qualifying scores, and a new Rally Novice Title! Pretty great for a rst time!!

He also recently earned his Advanced Agility Dog of Canada title, and just came home with his rst Scenthurdle Dog title! What a superstar!!!!

Amanda!
Brit debuted in the Obedience ring at the LDKC show, and came home with one Qualifying score- a 190/200. She did great, and we have a list of things to work on before the next one!

A puppy announcement!!! Jo and Brad welcomed their rst Flatcoated Retriever home! LYNC (Blazingstar Galwey) is long awaited and Jo is excited to enjoy life with a Flatcoated Retriever !!!! ! Andre picked up a couple more"Q's at the PawsnEffect trial end of Sept - earning his MSDC (Masters Snooker Dog of Canada) title!!

Walker went 3 for 3 at the 2 x 4 Agility trial- earning his AADC! Look for him in Masters!!! He got the Qs with all good times, and most importantly enjoyed himself! ! He has come a long way, and has learned that his mom is the most fun in the room. ;)

Andre got a couple more Q's at 2x4 trial, rst ever Steeplechase Q (yay!!) and another (not needed, LOL) Snooker! Snooker appears to be his game!! "! Buzz had a great rst time in the agility ring- he stuck with Andrea, and was happy to play.

True has big news to announce- he is ofcially the #1 Conformation Weimaraner in Canada for 2013!!! ! Not just beauty- Brains too! With limited showing True is #5 Rally Weim in Canada! ! At only three years old, he is already quite the dog. ! Huge Congratulations, and a big thank you to all of his supporters! !

The Tail End!

A few thoughts from the editor

Its Mid-December already. A time of holiday cheer, and reection of the year gone by. !

! ! ! !

I have had a slow year dog-wise. I did no agility at all, which was a big change for me. A few obedience trials, and no rally trials. Mostly I was out herding with my border collies. Different. But no less fun. ;). I am hopeful that 2014 will be more balanced- back to the agility ring I go! And I am going to do Rally with one of my Border Collies this year so will get more CKC Ring time too! Should be fun! ! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the newsletter over the past year- your input, photos and contribution is what makes it possible. I can only put in the stuff I get. I do tend to scan Facebook for interesting things, brags, and photos but that will likely stop in the new year. I just cant keep up with everyone!!! We are a small group- but we sure have a big presence in the dog world! It seems as though our members are always off doing something or other! So youll have to be sure to send me your stuff if you want it in, and Ill do my best to put everything in that I get! ! I hope everyone has a great Holiday Season, lled with friends, family, and of course Dogs. ;) Be sure to take a minute or two to really sit back and enjoy it- because before you know it Christmas will be over and 2014 will be here. Best wishes to everyone for a great Christmas, and to a great and successful 2014!!!! !
