Put the ingredients in large bowl. Mash, squeeze, knead, etc until it iscompletely blended. Form into small balls about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in size.Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Butter the bottom of a small glass anddip into white sugar, then pound the cookies flat. Bake at 350 degrees forabout 10 to 12 minutes. This is a good recipe to use when you need to getrid of some aggressions because the dough is too heavy for most mixers. Soyou have to use your hands and beat it!! You can also use peanut butteror butterscotch chips or a mixture of them.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -* Exported from MasterCook *Almond CookieRecipe By :Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00Categories :Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method-------- ------------ --------------------------------1 cup sugar1 1/2 cups butter1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring1 8 ounces can almond paste1 1/2 cups flour1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon sodaCream butter, sugar, and almond flavoring until light and fluffy.
