U.N.T.U.

U.N.T.U (Universe Next to Universe) is a live research project based on rhythm and time-traveling experimentations. Artists and scientists are invited to dene a common research playground in order to create tools, objects or music instruments that will

allow unpredicted actions and powerful forms of experience when they are used by performers. The rst performances were shown in June 2013 at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs de Paris (Ensad) and at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-arts de Paris (Ensba).

Works realised in collaboration with Tom Gay (Software Engineering) and Tom Huet (Light Installation research DiiP at EnsadLab). Produced in residency at Villa Rose Studio.

LE BEAU TEMPS is a performance based on a specic tool : an open framework softtware. The purpose of this software was to trigger images with music instruments and stay free from an established tempo or grid. Watch archive here

Focusing on a spontaneous human temporality each element of the drums turned on a light or an engine while the keyboards were used to generate random pixels. The electronic drum pads were used to trigger video samples.

The EXPERIENCE SONOPLASTIQUE #0 is focused on the idea of bringing rhythm to a gallery space by turning a still exhitibtion into a sensitive journey through sound, light and animated images. Watch archive here

This immersive space left the audience unaware of its spatial organisation as scluptures hung to the wall were plunged into the dark, slowly revealed by ashes of light, along with the wandering rhythms of the drum.
