Primary Care Development Corporation
(PCDC) was established to preserve and expandcritically needed primary care services in underserved communities in NewYork City. Since 1994, ithas provided ﬁnancial and technical assistance to health care providers to enable them to enhancetheir facilities and improve their operations. Through its unique ﬁnancing mechanisms, whichleverage public and private grants and loans, PCDChas ﬁnanced 28 primary care centers to date,representing a total investment of $100 million.
is a nonproﬁt organization that assists health centers in planning and obtaining ﬁnancingfor capital projects. Working nationally out of its ofﬁces in Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Illinois,North Carolina, Texas and Washington, Capital Link has assisted 49 individual health centers inobtaining grants and loans for 57 capital projects totaling approximately $130 million.Capital Link was founded as a collaborative effort of the Primary Care Associations in Massachusetts,Illinois, North Carolina and Texas, the Community Health Center Capital Fund and the NationalAssociation of Community Health Centers.
