PROFILE SUMMARY
Having been in the construction industry now for 16 years I have gained invaluable experience and
knowledge from grass roots level to present day. Working for the family run construction business I
served my time as a carpenter and joiner and learned all the basic principles of the day to day rigours
of site work .After my apprenticeship I worked on projects in the U.S.A, Australia, and Canada where I
developed managerial experience together complimented with different building practices, which I
took with me along the way. I am Currently undertaking a self funded HNC in Surveying/Construction
Management at London South Bank University which will further enhance my skill set and develop my
career options .I am a passionate, focused self driven individual with an insatiable desire to learn, I
work with integrity and honesty and I am a firm believer in team ethics .I have successfully met
deadlines and thrive in a challenging environment. A zealous attitude toward learning and undertaking
new aspects of surveying and management.
CAREER BIOGRAPHY
In this role with heavenly Homes I was responsible for undertaking managerial tasks accompanied by
various surveying duties also, it helped me develop my inter personal skills and to multi-task accordingly
in a highly pressurised environment. It also helped me become more commercially aware when sourcing
materials.

I worked for Duffy Group for over 3 years, I started out as a carpenter and joiner then was elevated onto
the commercial management side as an assistant, I worked here for approximately 7 months until I was

After working on site I was told I would assist the managers on the construction side before moving to the
Commercial side. These were some of my duties I undertook as management assistant and prepared me
for my next step in the surveying commercial sector.
• Allocation sheets
• Document control
• Marking up of Revised Drawings
I worked as a carpenter and joiner for some time when I joined this company, until I was offered a position
in the management team.
• Installation of stairwells
• Construction of doorframes
• Hanging of doors + frames
• Lock installations
• Construction of Lift shafts and walls
• Pre cast slab installation.
• Installation of suspended ceilings/ studwork
I worked in The United States for 3 years on mainly commercial works as a carpenter, I was then
recommended to lead the team on this project and it gave me vital managerial experience. It developed
my communication skills also.
