Events community last month by
helping out with the Bee
Wise, Immunize program.

were three guys in the car
and they looked a little suspi-
cious but I didn't think any-
thing of it. I am pretty sure
they were out canvassing
neighborhoods waiting for
someone to leave. It was my
unlucky day because they saw
me pulling out of the garage
and they knew no one else
was home. So as soon as I
left they made their way into
my backyard buy pulling on a
weak part of the fence. They
then pushed in the window
panel on our french doors in
the bedroom. We have a 3
year old German Short-

County. Because of every-
one’s hard work, thou-
sands of kids were able to
receive their vaccinations.

broke in. Seeing and hearing
her barking did not deter
them from breaking in. Un-
fortunately we did not have a
working security system at
the time, but we did have a
ADT sign in our front yard.
This was also not a deterrent.
They got away with our Nin-
tendo Wii, HP laptop, and my
jewelry box. Luckily no one
was hurt and eventually those
items can be replaced.
I wanted to share this
with you because we have
learned a lot from this inci-
dent. (cont. pg 5).

1/2 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
3 1/2 c. milk
1 pkg. instant French vanilla pudding
1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
8 inch diameter (at top) new clay or plastic pot

Make sure to take notes if you see
someone or something that looks
suspicious. For example I remem-
bered the color and make of the car.
If I would have written down the li-
cense plate it would have been even
better. Another lesson we learned
was to write down the serial num-
bers to all of your electronics. This
way if they are stolen the police offi-
cers can put those numbers into "the
system" and you will have a better

Crush well one whole package of Oreo cookies.
Set aside. Cream together butter, cream cheese
and powdered sugar. In separate bowl, mix to-
gether milk and pudding mix, add to creamed
mixture. Fold in Cool Whip.
Plug hole in pot by placing a plastic container lid
into bottom of pot. Layer cookies and pudding
mix. End with cookies. Refrigerate. (Recipe
should be cut in 1/2 for smaller pot.)
Decorate with flowers before serving.
