~DEDICATION ~
There are four wonderful persons we would especially like to thank.
They have been there since the beginning, have proven to be good friends, and have been supporters of our writing efforts. Combined, they published not only our first book, but our first short story, as well! And the fourth name is that of a friend who has supported us for over two decades! So how could we not thank them all?

We wish to acknowledge you four for all your kindness, generosity, and help.
Again, thank you, so very much!

MYSTERIES OF TIME TRAVEL:
35 CASES OF TIME TRAVEL INTRUSION?
By
George Kempland And Rob Shelsky
Introduction
…ultimately he [Man] may be able to stop or accelerate his drift along the Time-Dimension, or even turn about and travel the other way
.
—H.G. Wells, The Time Machine
Time travel is the most mysterious and perhaps most dangerous of all scientific possibilities. To travel into the future, or back in time, to be able to alter past events at will, and so forge new futures, new outcomes—humanity has long dreamed of doing such an incredible thing.
Horrible consequences could occur if we could change our destiny through time travel. We could accidentally change things in such a way as to create a dystopia instead of a utopia. We could end up by creating a hell instead of a paradise. Worse, our meddling in time might end by us destroying all of humanity and even all life on our planet. So the penalties for time travel could be great. Although time travel could hold great rewards, it could also certainly mean our total destruction as a species.
Time Travel would almost certainly mean catastrophic changes for individuals. To change the present reality by altering history would mean wiping out all or most of the lives that came after that change, people who would still be here except for such a time alteration. To use part of the old time travel paradox, if you kill someone’s grandfather, for example, the grandchildren would never be born, nor would their children or their children’s children and so on to the end of time itself.
Time Travel would also mean catastrophic changes for whole populations and civilizations. What if events were changed somehow so Hitler had won World War II? How many millions more would have died because of that extended war, and the resulting invasion of North and South America? How many billions of others might also never have been born because their prospective parents died in that extended war? Might the Jewish people then have been hideously extinguished as an entire race, along with other races Hitler felt were inferior? Would we now, the survivors of all this, be submissive and loyal followers of a new worldwide Third Reich, and slaves to an over-race, the so-called supermen, or Ubermensch, as Nietzsche coined the term?
A compelling idea? Change events and not only the future changes, but so, too, will those who continue to exist and those who won’t, those who will just…disappear from our collective memories, because suddenly, they never were.
Questions of morality come into play. Is it still murder if these people were never real
in the first place, never having existed, because time had been altered to avoid their very births? You see, for humans to time travel means many questions of morality must be answered first. However, what if someone is time traveling and just doesn’t care about such ethics—just wants certain results at any cost? What then? And what if they already are doing this?
Does all this sound farfetched? Is time travel just science fiction, and utterly impossible,
as many scientists and other persons of note have claimed? Should we just dismiss the idea of time travel as so improbable as to belong to the world of pure fantasy? And should it stay there, because the dangers of having such abilities as time travel would be so fearfully awesome?
Difficult questions and the answers are just as difficult. But we think we’ve found some of them. And they are startling in their implications.
Our book claims:
1. Time travel does exist.
2. Someone
has been interfering in a big way with our entire history, and apparently right from the very beginning.
3. We feel there is ample evidence for time travel interference. By using the power of the Principle of Occam’s Razor, we intend to examine some of the evidence.
4. We will present this evidence in the form of thirty-five strange cases here, in Mysteries of Time Travel: 35 Cases Of Time Travel Intrusion? There are several main categories or types of such evidence that we intend to use. This is because we wish to approach the subject from several different angles, and not just rely on one type of evidence to prove our points.
5. Those that are altering our history are doing it for a specific reason. We intend to arrive at some conclusions based on this, what it is the time travellers seem to wish to achieve.
Now, let’s take a brief look at whether time travel is even possible and then we’ll review all those cases of time travel intrusion.
PART 1
THE POSSIBILITY OF TIME TRAVEL
Chapter 1
The Case Against And For Time Travel
Spiral of Time
Today, we know that time travel need not be confined to myths, science fiction, Hollywood movies, or even speculation by theoretical physicists. Time travel is possible.
—Clifford Pickover, Time: A Traveler's Guide
TIME TRAVEL IMPOSSIBLE? THE CASE AGAINST IT:
As we mentioned in the introduction, many scientists flatly say time travel is impossible. They make this claim based on two main arguments.
1. The first claim is if time travel exists, then there should be evidence in our history for such interference in past events already. Scientists say there is no such evidence. Therefore, logically, time travel doesn’t exist now or in the future, because if it did, there would be such evidence to be found already in our past.
In other words, time travel can’t ever exist because if it did, there should be a record of past evidence for it already in our history. And if there is no record of time travel interference in our history, then time travel can’t ever exist. Rather circular logic isn’t it? It’s much like the old which came first—the chicken or the egg
controversy. And let’s be honest here, this claim by scientists is just about as silly, but there you go.
2. The second argument of those who don’t believe time travel is possible say it is against the laws of physics as we know them.
Simply put, the basic laws of our universe just don’t allow for time travel, and so it can’t be. Time travel, for those with this viewpoint, just isn’t possible. It just can’t exist according to them.
TIME TRAVEL POSSIBLE? THE CASE FOR IT:
Let’s quickly examine the first point of those who don’t believe time travel to be possible. They say if it did exist, now
