About this ebook
The Disciples of Goedric, A Trilogy
I. Gay Gene Rising
II. Guardians of the Blood
III. SoulFire and Tears
You are purchasing all three books in one larger format edition.
Book I: Gay Gene Rising...
Etan Reyes Llamas, AKA, Patient G—a frail young man who is plagued by horrific visions is released from the hospital after his rare blood condition leads to the discovery of the gay gene. Within weeks, IFC Pharmaceuticals announces AEG/IS, the gay cure. While the world is busy debating the drug’s merits, a suspicious fever kills hundreds of thousands of gay men in the matter of hours, presenting millions upon millions of people with an impossible choice... take the gay cure or die.
Book II: Guardians of the Blood...
Etan flees his Chicago apartment, narrowly escaping corporate henchman who will stop at nothing to get him back under their control. His only hope lies with a rag-tag group of friends, led by the redoubtable Sues, two tough, old-guard lesbians who never thought they’d live long enough to witness the horrors of a second gay plague.
Sue DeGault and Sue Keller pray for strength as they prepare to battle fate, and the IFC, a corporate goliath controlled by a powerful family with roots dating back to the days of King Yoshiyahu of Judah—an ancient family that has been raging a religious war against homosexuals for 2,700 years.
Book III: and Tears...
In the remote mountains of Mexico, a great grey-wolf raises its muzzle and curls back his lips to taste the air. The scent of blood stings his palette, and he howls into ancient winds as they paint the mists with death. The winds were born on the battlefield, in a time long past. They saw the Great Purge of King Yoshiyahu. They witnessed the atrocities that were committed in the name of Yahweh, and they moaned in anguish as the blood of the Disciples of Goedric muddied the ground. The Sons and Daughters of Goedric had fallen, and their once noble creed was trapped in time, drifting like a ripple across an endless sea, waiting for the second dawn of Man’s hope—with no sign of shore.
Prepare to remember what you should never have forgotten—for these pages were written for you...
Jeffrey Jude
Jeff was born in Detroit Michigan and earned a B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Plant Ecology from Wayne State University before moving to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago where he studied Evolutionary Biology. While in Chicago Jeff was a volunteer at Gay and Lesbian Horizons serving as as a peer counselor as well as an instructor of gay sensitivity for the Chicago Police Department. He was also the co-chair of the Illinois Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Jeff then returned to Michigan for a couple of years and served as a board member of he Michigan Organization for Human Rights, as well as the MOHR Foundation. With a small group of friends, Jeff founded the Affirmations Community Center for lesbians and gays which has since moved to Ferndale Michigan and grown enormously. Missing Chicago, he returned to form Overlooked Opinions, the first national opinion polling firm specializing in gay and lesbian polling and market research. Overlooked Opinions' ground breaking research was cited in virtually every major market publication in the US and Canada, as well as across five contienents, promoting understanding and visibility for gay men and lesbian women worldide. Shortly thereafter, Jeff was named one Chicago's top 40 businessmen under 40 by Crain's Chicago Magazine. Jeff now lives part of the year in Riviera Nayarit and part of the year in a small town near Grand Rapids, Michigan. He lives with five wolfdog hybrids and is an avid nature lover enjoying regular jaunts into the jungles of Mexico and the Woodlands of Michigan. The Disciples of Goedric Trilogy is his second forey into the world of writing fiction. It started as a waking dream on the rowing machine and evolved into an epic tale spanning three volumes: Gay Gene Rising, Guardians of the Blood and SoulFire and Tears. The next book in the series picks up where The Disciples of Goedric left off and will be titled Killian's Breath. For those who wonder about such things, jeff is single, still searching for that knight in somewhat tarnished armor; his favorite food is Thai, and his favorite beverages are black coffee and red wine.

Reviews for The Disciples of Goedric, A Trilogy

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is an amazing epic tale that spans three volumes. It is a rare mix of genres weaving together fantasy with history, the paranormal with the everyday, science with religion... and a romance that reshapes the future.I was engaged and captivated and it made me think about concepts I havent considered since my idealistic days in college when I thought I could change the world.Maybe, just maybe its possible. As Sue DeGault, my favorite character said... we all have a note to sing, and together we fashion a song.Highly recommend.
