Introduction
Maybe the most positive, exciting, new, major event in humankind history will be upon us in less than five decades. It may truly be a start of a new phase for human existence. I believe all of us, as a world society, will willingly embrace the discovery and make basic human changes that will support a much better world for us and future generations.
We have all the information we need today to be able to present this discovery with a very simple projection process. More detail about this projection process will be presented in the next chapter.
Why use the word projection
instead of prediction?
Well, a prediction is a statement about the way things will happen in the future, often—but not always—based on experience or knowledge. So anybody could make a prediction about anything! A projection is a prediction based on known evidence and observation. That is the process used in this book.
You might ask, Doesn't this require thousands of scientists working for decades in many fields in order to come up with this type of major human discovery?
Of course the answer is yes
and we do have countless people around the world improving human understanding on a daily basis. The key is that nobody has evaluated the convergence of many complicated sciences to make all of us aware of this discovery that is almost upon us. I guarantee you that if somebody had published this new discovery, you would have already read about it or heard about it through the media.
We will address six very complex fields of interest in such a way that all of us can understand it independent of any person’s particular technical understanding of the six subjects. Introduction to these six fields will be presented in Chapter 2 titled Fields of Interest.
Before getting started, there are a set of simple intellectual positions that are used to produce everything in the book. Here is a list of those positions.
All thoughts in this book stem from our human senses and the brain power we possess to understand our environment.
In order to have a future understanding, you need to start with having some present understanding.
A human’s ability to reason is a key to the understanding presented in this book.
A human’s ability to develop tools is a key to the understanding presented in this book.
Understanding the history of human discovery is a key to unlock next steps in discovery.
Change in human physiology was important to us in the early years of our existence. Things like developing an opposable thumb, walking upright, an increase in brain size, all contributed to our position in the world today. Growth in human understanding today depends very little on humans’ changing physiology. Today human under-standing comes from our mental abilities to create tools and to develop new ideas.
The growth of human understanding today follows a simple pattern.
Here is that Human Understanding Process:
We investigate things or by chance something new is brought to our attention.
We then discover something and can rediscover it over and over again.
We experiment with it and learn more about it.
We understand it and define it. We do this with our mathematics and physics.
We use it to our advantage which triggers more investigation.
We make tools based on the discovery.
The discovery becomes part of human under-standing which allows new investigations and discoveries.
While reading this book, you may not believe or not want to believe one of the assumptions or projections. At that time you could put the book down and not finish the journey. I hope your curiosity allows you to finish the journey; but if not, maybe in the future as humans roll out new discoveries, you may want to take a second look.
Many of today's events in human society are very troubling and we are eager to find solutions. I believe solutions to many of our societies’
