Vellum Votive Sleeve
by Mary Vogel (MBryt1@buckeye-express.com)Here is what you need:2 vellum strips - 6 x 22 cardstock strips - 6 x 11/8" hole punch brads or eyelets and cordRandom stamp the vellum with whatever stamp set you like. I like to use smaller outline images- the B sized stamps work well. In this sample, I used a little larger stamp so you could see better.
You may also stamp the cardstock strip if you like with a saying or something.Adhere the one cardstock strip to the very bottom edge of one stamped vellum piece. Repeatwith the other pieces.Line the finished pieces wrong sides together and punch 2 holes along each short side. Insert brads or eyelets (used in sample) through front to attach front to back.
If you used eyelets, run some thin cord from the back to the front on each side and tie in a knot.Open the top and bottom edges of the finished piece and slip over a small glass votive holder with a tealight candle inside.Light and watch your images on the vellum shine! Do not burn for more than 2-3 hours and donot leave unsupervised.
