About This iBook
i
This iBook has been created for use at SLATE 2013 for “APPficiency.” The reason for using this format is to hopefully have people think a little differently about the APPs they use. The  APPs mentioned in this iBook are not necessarily the ‘best’ in their respective ‘categories.’ The variety of APPs is merely to represent how different people may find solutions to use in their daily lives to help them be effective. The
idea
of APPficiency is more a way of
thinking
about the APPs you use. The more an APP can communicate with services that you already are using the better. Ideally, you want to have the security of knowing if you lost your iPad, laptop or iPhone your information wouldn’t be lost because you have apps or features that allow for data redundancy. To help start the
thinking,
I use three characters which utilize technology a little differently as it pertains to their APPs. The story is not meant to be complete or even all that great, but mer ely a means to bring about and foster discussion. Here are some fascinating numbers regarding the Apple APP Store.
