SOCIAL CASE STUDYIntroduction
Social case work, a primary method of social work, is considered with theadjustment and development of the individual towards more satisfying humanrelations. Better family life, improved schools better housing, more hospitals andmedical care facilities, protected economic conditions and better relationsbetween religious groups help the individual in his adjustment and development.But his adjustment and development depend on the use of these resources byhim. Sometimes due to certain factors, internal or external, he fails to availexisting facilities. In such situations, social case worker helps him. Thus, socialcase work is one to one relationship which works in helping the individual forhis adjustment and development.
DEFINITIONS
Social case work may be defined as the art of doing different things forand with different people by cooperating with them to achieve at one and thesame time their own and society’s betterment.
