This book is comprised of the content of the four 'Becoming a Brief Therapist' paperback training books.

Part One covers topics from Pattern Matching and Problem Structure to Hypnosis and The Role of Trance both in problem maintenance and problem resolution.

Part Two covers Brief Therapy in more detail including Therapeutic Techniques and how best to approach treating conditions like Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD), Addictions, Pain and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Part Three & Four covers more of an insight into my thinking and how I personally do therapy. Part one taught an underpinning to doing effective brief therapy, part two taught the actual `doing' of therapy, parts three and four go into answering questions that have been posed to me over the years; questions relating to more fringe based areas of therapy from the use of energy therapies like Emotional Freedom Technique to past life regression and future progression, to delving more into cellular healing and what research and information is available out there.

The author has written over 10 books and has over 15 years experience working predominantly in the areas of Depression; Anxiety; Phobia and Trauma Treatment (including PTSD, OCD and other anxiety problems). He has worked on TV programmes like 'The Anatomy of Fear', and previously been featured on the radio, in newpapers and had work appear in magazines; including 'New Scientist' and 'BBC Focus'
