Today, the level of social networking has come to signify different groups of people, united by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as values, visions, ideas, financial exchange, friendships, sexual relationships, kinship, dislike, conflict or trade. Web-based social networks such as the immensely popular Facebook, LinkedIn, WAYN, Twitter, Plaxo, Hi5, MySpace, Orkut and the Indian Bigadda, among others, have created their own special worlds of interactivity, where communication rules. It is here that people have forged relationships and collaborations, both on the personal and professional fronts.
At the same time, over the last few years, social networking has sought another fresh plank, and it is the mobile. By all accounts, mobile social networking will literally emerge as the new way to go in the future!
