Getting to the Conference
BY CAR
From points North (Prince Georges County, Baltimore, PA/NJ/NY):
95 South - take 895 South to Annapolis exit
Follow 895 South through Harbor Tunnel ($2.00 toll)
Right exit on 295 South - BWI Airport
Travel south on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (295) - do not take any exits for the 495Beltway
Take exit for 295 South to Richmond/Alexandria - the BW Pkwy ends and splits, stay to the left(do not take New York Ave/Bladensburg Road exit)
Follow 295 South, stay to the right - take exit for RFK Stadium/East Capitol Street (exit will beon the right)
Follow East Capitol Street to the left - travel half way around RFK Stadium
For Parking:
At first traffic light - bear to the right to continue on East Capitol Street
Parking lot will be available at the corner of 16

Parking and Shuttle InformationParking
Some free street parking is available on residential streets around the church. In addition, free summitparking is available at 16
th
Street, NE and East Capitol Street - across the street from Mt. MoriahBaptist Church. There will be a BOA parking sign there for your convenience. To walk to the churchfrom there, follow East Capitol south to 13
th
Street, turn left and the church wil be on your right within ablock. You can also take the Lincoln Park shuttle (see below). FYI: Overnight parking at the Hyatt is$45.
Shuttle
The Lincoln Park UMC van will shuttle conference participants between the parking lot and the churchand between The shuttle will run on
Thursday from 10 am - 12:30 pm
as well as during the afternoonhotel check-in break, as well as following the public meeting. It will also run
Friday from 8:00 - 9:00am
, and again at the end of the conference in generally
15 minute intervals
on both days.

Metro and Taxicab Information
Metrorail is an above-ground and sub-ground transportation system that serves the Washingtonmetropolitan area. It is a very safe, clean and convenient transportation system that is utilized by tensof thousands of people of everyday - it is a highly recommended mode of transportation.You will need to purchase a fare card in the station, which can be purchased using either cash or acredit card. Fares will vary depending on your originating point, but should not be more than $3 - $4each way (if originating from a point within DC, fares will about $1 - $2 each way).The metro station closest to the conference location is

line (you can take either color train).If you are arriving by Amtrak into Union Station, the Metro is conveniently located in Union Station - onelevel below where the Amtrak trains arrive. Union Station is on the “Red” line - you will need to take themetro from Union Station to Metro Center (it will be the “Red” line train going toward Shady Grove). Atthe Metro Center stop, you can transfer to either the “Orange” or “Blue” line. If you get on the Orangeline train - you will need to go toward New Carrollton and get off at the
Stadium-Armory
stop. If youget on a Blue line train - you will need to go toward Largo Town Center and get off at the

The Stadium-Armory Metro station is located at the corner of East Capitol Street and 18
th
Streets. If youopt not to wait for the shuttle, it is about a 5 block - 10 minute walk going west on East Capitol Street tothe conference location (walk away from RFK Stadium).
