The November i s s u e of SKYLOOK c a r r i e d a
b r i e f s t o r y of a large u n i d e n t i f i e d o b j e c t
seen f r o m d i f f e r e r e n t areas i n Greene County,
3ct. l k t h , and reported by t h e S p r i n g f i e l d
p r e s s . To recap, f i v e s h e r i f f ' s deputies
spotted t h e UFO f r o m various p a r t s of t h e
county between 6 and 6:15 am. Inmon, Kordalis
and Deckard w e r e on Highww M near South Cam-
p e l l whem t h e y saw t h e o b j e c t , which Inmon
described as giving t h e impression of being
suite l a r g e . H e s a i d it appeared t o have two
nblong-shaped windows w i t h a w h i t e glow com-
ing f r o m t h e i n t e r i o r and a long red flame
coming o u t of t h e rear. Kordalis s a i d t h e
~ b $ X tappeared t o b e t r a v e l d n g w e s t at a rate
3f speed, t h e n turned south and disappeared.
He estimated t h e o b j e c t t o b e about t h e s i z e
3f a four-engine plane, without t h e wings o r
tail, and t h a t it had two m s of l i g h t s
which looked l i k e l i g h t e d windows. The lights
were not b u n k i n g and appeared white o r b l u i s h
white.
Young and Osuchowski s a i d they saw a 50
f o o t s t r e a k o f red-orange l i g h t . They estimat-
ed i t s a l t i t u d e a t 1000 t o 1500 f e e t from
t h e i r p o s i t i o n a t t h e p u b l i c school a t %is
D'Qc.

c l o s e r at tremendous speed out of t,he north-

o f Oakland, Calif., was preparing t o photo-
gralph Canis Major when a b r i l l i a n orange-

horizon. A t . first it had constant b r l g h t -
ness, slow speed and l e f t a conapicuous
trail. A photograph w a s taken with a Honey-
well-Pentx -camera. The o b j e c t w a s vi-sible
f o r one minute and 45 seconds. A f t e r t h e
o b j e c t disappeared, t h e trail was seen f o r
over an hour.
On March 3, 1968, 9:49 pm, EST, two
people i n Hubbard, Ohio, observed two o b j e c t s
moving t o t h e northeast, each breaking i n t o

The Oklahoma S t a t e Chapter of APRO met a t
t h e public l i b r a r y i n Tuba, A p r i l 11, with
50 o r more people present and we have a re-
p o r t from one who was t h e r e .
A l l l i s t e n e d f o r an hour and a half t o a
t a p e recording of C a r r o l l Wayne Watts, 29
year old Texas fanner, who has been i n t h e
news s i n c e he f i r s t t o l d , and then denied, a
s t o r j of encounters with space people and
r i d e s i n a space s h i p i n which he w a s given
a physical examination by a machine which
"hugged" h i m .
Watts broke down a f t e r a l i e d e t e c t o r
t e s t on Feb. 25, according t o t h e Amarillo
press, and s a i d h i s s t o r y of seeing a gray
c y l i n d r i c a l spacecraft and gray s q u a t t y
Martians w a s s c r i p t e d by a Panhandle
artist and memorized i n fouk s e s s i o n s of
hypnosis. The photographs which were a l s o
furnished by t h e artist, were claimed by
Watts t o be p i c t u r e s of t h e UFO.
