Other Clubs interested?
If you are a member of another club or organization that would like tovolunteer their time at the craft tent, please speak to Charis aboutreserving a space. P.S. Other Clubs on campus may use their inter-clubfunds to help with their craft donation!
Clothing Drive!
Tau Iota’s craft for the Harvest Party will be scarecrow making. We areexpecting to make up to 50 scarecrows. However, we need clothes toput on these scarecrows. To go along with the international serviceprogram related to “going green” we are asking that you donateclothes to dress these scarecrows up. We are looking for young adultclothing. Please help us by donating! Email the Chapter e-mail if youhave a donation.
Toy Drive
:We need new and unwrapped take-home toys/items for the childrenattending the party. Ages are from 5-17. No stuffed toys, please. Emailthe Chapter e-mail if you have a donation.
Satellite Seminars:
Starting in the Beginning of October, we will be showing a series of seminars directly from Phi Theta Kappa International. The purpose of

these seminars is to “Promote interaction among disciplines byinvolving the faculty from various departments on campus, such as thehistory, political science, religion, economics, sociology, philosophy,and psychology departments.” An OCC faculty/staff member will followthese Seminars for a discussion. The seminars will be tentativelyscheduled to be in the Technology Building Lecture Happ.Refreshments will be served! PROJECT GREEN – Beach Clean-Up @Belmar Beach –
