An event featuring Carl Wilkens and Wilbur Sargunaraj

Carl and Wilbur have been speaking and performing at academic institutions and events
across the globe. Through stories and music, they share about engaging with the Other, the
intrinsic value of humanity, and the Power of Presence.

PRESENTATION LENGTH
90 minutes followed by Q&A (time flexible to meet the needs of your event)
GROUP TYPE AND SIZE
Whole student body and/or classes or groups interested in issues of
international studies, genocide, and social justice issues.
VISIT STATISTICS
During the 2012/2013 academic year Carl gave a total of 254 presentations to
31,636 people in 60 middle and high schools, 34 universities and 25 civic and
faith groups. Wilbur has over 6 million views on his Youtube channel and has
performed in various schools, orphanages and events around the world. Some
notable performances include events at orphanages in Jakarta and Mumbai and
at a rehabilitation centre in Vellore, India. He continues to perform in various
communities and will be visiting Nunavut, Uganda and Ethiopia in 2014 to
partner with various NGOs. Wilbur just released his debut film Simple
Superstar which is being presented at various international film festivals.

COST
The total cost for the event is $1500 USD plus travel and accommodation
costs (Carl from USA, Wilbur from Canada). A deposit of $750 USD must
be provided to book and confirm the event. The remaining funds are
payable upon completion of the event. Both Carl and Wilbur are flexible
with the type of accommodation provided.
