ere's an oxymoron: an ethical journalist. Of course, it depends upon one's view of ethics, doesn't it? If one's definition of the term (for example, the philosophical study of moral values and rules, or motivation based on ideas of right and wrong, or the principles of right and wrong that are accepted by an individual or a social group, or a system of principles governing morality and acceptable conduct) includes deceit, character assassination, promoting the tyranny of a political dogma, and denigrating the constitutional rights of others, while demanding that your rights remain inviolate, then most journalists are by definition ethical.
