About the Middle School Volunteer Internship Program:
Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is currently recruiting college-aged students and recent graduates to participate in its Volunteer Internship Program. We are filling positions for the Winter 2014 semester.
Training is mandatory to participate in the program .
Trainings are on Fridays & Saturdays from 9:00AM-5:00PM. Dates: January 24-25 January 31-February 1 February 7-8 During training, volunteer interns learn and practice an age-appropriate sexuality education curriculum for middle school students. Once interns have successfully completed the training and evaluation process, they will provide presentations in middle school classrooms throughout Los Angeles on topics such as sexuality, anatomy, abstinence, communication skills, gender stereotypes, STD prevention, and contracetion.
