Dear Friend
It was on a clear night that both I and mygood lady recently decided to go for a walk and visit some friends. As we strolled alongI looked up into the night sky and I sawthat it was covered in myriads of stars.I found myself asking-
“Where have all the
stars come from? When did they come intobeing? What keeps them on their vast
courses?”

I recalled reading somewhere about a lecture given by Frank Jeffries,
astronomer and scientist. “Friends,” he said, addressing his audience,“the greatest thinkers throughout the history of mankind including the
present, have utterly failed to give a satisfactory explanation as to howand when this world came into existence. Whatever theory they haveworked on, they have eventually come face to face with the necessity of a First Cause which they cannot define; so for ever they stumble alongand all the time, following patiently behind them hoping that they willturn and look Him in the face is the First Cause, the Lord God of heaven and earth. So as I looked up at the night's sky, a vista of God's creation was spreadout before me, I realized afresh that however unfashionable it may bethese days. The Book of Genesis gets amazingly near the truth
In the beginning God created both the heaven and the earth.

When we receive your letter, it is placed upon the altar in thesanctuary where your needs are given to the Father for DivineHealing. All we ask is that you enter this realisation of being onewith the Father now, not tomorrow, but at this precious moment, know that you and your Father are one. We all have needs;Physical, mental, spiritual and material. The Father is the answerto them all.Every day we receive many letters from friends all over the worldasking for prayer and giving thanks for healing received. It is theLord who unites us in prayer and who takes us into the universalperfection of His love and body for us to share. So we giveourselves to Him in all His wisdom to be channels of His care. Howwonderful to be so divinely needed, and so absolutely necessary, for the spiritual wellbeing, health and happiness of one another. The supreme emphasis is always upon `Prayer` in the realisationthat the answer to every human problem is to be found incommunion with the Lord.Through our intercessions hundreds of healings have beenreported down the years. We know that prayer heals and thatdistance is no obstacle whatsoever, I will continue to keep you inmy thoughts and prayers.

 WE CAN ALL SUPPORTEACH OTHER
I will be visiting the USA again inNovember and I remembered when Ilast visited the West Coast of theUSA. One of the states I toured wasCalifornia. Whilst I was there I wastaken with a group of tourists to seethe Worlds biggest trees, the GiantRedwoods, the biggest being over360 feet.

The guide with our party asked, “How deep do you think theroots go down into the soil?” A member of our party answered
that the roots for these giants must go down all the way to the
centre of the Earth. The guide replied, “Actually the roots are
very sha
llow and they don‟t go down far at all, only 20 feet or so.” “That‟s impossible.” Was the reply, “How possibly can thetrees of that size manage to remain standing?”The guide explained, “They are able to stand up because each
root hooks around the roots of a neighbouring tree. Beneaththe surface they actually link arms, forming an interweave root
system of support. They literally hold one another up!”
That sounds like the perfect definition of our own world widechurch family: Through our prayers and daily communications,
we hold one another up. Your roots don‟t need to be too deep
or widespread as long as they can link with others.
If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honoured, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12:26.
