YPN Networking to Business Lunch: Why Companies Want to Attract and Retain Innovators
 –

Tue 1/21, 11:30am-1pm, Ramada Plaza & Suites. Do you have a business
idea? An invention? Or maybe you have that entrepreneurial spirit? You won’t want to
miss this shining example of how an idea came to life and impacted the health and
wellness of thousands of people nationwide. Lift’n Buddy was established in 2011 in

Fargo by inventor and entrepreneur Aaron Lamb. The company became part of NDSU’s
 incubator program and this business-
nurturing environment allowed Lamb’s idea for a
better lifting and transporting device to beco
me a reality. Soon after the first Lift’n
Buddy units began to appear in workplaces, the accolades poured in. The company recently received the coveted Edison Award honoring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design and innovation. In addition, Lamb started Bunks4Kids, a charitable organization that uses a Buy One, Get One format for providing children in need with a decent bunk bed. Bunks4Kids is also proud to be a provider for U.S. military families. $20 YPN Members, $30 General Admission.
