Here are a few simple tips forgetting rid of those pesky household odours in a snap, leaving youwith more time to do the things you would rather be doing.1.You can use lemon juice to get rid of odours like fish, onion, garlicand spaghetti sauce from hands, cooking utensils and pans. Youcan even use lemon juice on a wet dish scrub to wipe yourcounter tops and cutting blocks down to remove any lingeringodours.2.Grinding up any citrus peel while running hot water into yourgarbage disposal will remove any lingering odours wafting upfrom it.3.Keeping a box of baking soda in your refrigerator and in yourfreezer will absorb any odours from your appliances, leavingthem smelling clean and fresh. You can also place a box of baking soda in your bathrooms behind the toilet to remove anyodours that might arise there.4.You can toss a tablespoon of baking soda onto any nasty spill inyour refrigerator or freezer to absorb some of the mess and cutany odours the spill itself might cause. You can also do this inyour bathroom or on any smooth surface.5.Use a cup of vinegar in your washing machine when doing a loadof laundry to remove any odours from clothing and from thewashing machine itself. You can also boil about a half a cup of vinegar with two cups of water on your stovetop to removeirksome, lingering odours in your kitchen.6.Placing a cotton ball soaked in pure vanilla extract in a smallsaucer and placing it anywhere in your home or even your carwill eliminate odors and freshen the air, giving it a sweetenedscent.7.You can remove almost any odour from your home by boilingcinnamon and cloves in about two cups of water.
